Pantry hours for COOL are as follows,
Monday: 10:00 AM-1:45 PM
Tuesday: 10:00 AM-1:45 PM
Wednesday: 10:00 AM-1:45 PM
Thursday: 10:00 AM-1:45 PPM
Friday: 10:00 AM-1:45 PM
Every Fourth Saturday 10:00 AM-12:00 PM
Individuals needing emergency food assistance should visit the pantry during pantry operation hours. Must present required documents for themselves and family members to obtain food.
Valid IL State Driver's License or
Valid IL State I.D.
Birth Certificate or other proof of dependent children
Must be Lake County Residents and meet government guidelines for low-income families based on family size. Individuals may only receive assistance once every thirty (30) calendar days.

Individuals seeking to donate food or other items to the pantry should contact the COOL Food Pantry Operations Manager at (847) 662-1230 to discuss our current needs.
General Pantry Volunteer - Assist Pantry staff with sorting, packaging, and distributing food to visitors.
Pantry Warehouse Volunteer - Assist Pantry staff with unloading truck, moving boxes, and general support for large truck pick-ups and deliveries.
Pantry Donation Pick-Up Driver - Assist Warehouse Manager with donation pick-ups from local grocery stores. Must be 25 years or older and have a current driver's license in good standing. COOL will provide the truck.
Pantry Counter Volunteer - Assist pantry staff at the counter to log guests into our data entry system. Must be computer literate and willing to volunteer 2 hours a day (10:00 AM-noon) Must be willing to commit to volunteering on a regular basis (same day or days each week).
